What We Do
Grants and Community Programs (GCP)
works to improve the quality of life for our community. Staff
identify needs in the community and work to secure resources to meet
those needs, often in collaboration with other City and County
departments and non-profit and for-profit entities.
Resources for funding include
grants and loans from federal, state, city, county, and private
entities. Staff research funding opportunities and write or
package applications for those funds.

News, Announcements and Updates
Save the Date - In collaboration with the
Montana Board of Crime Control (MBCC), local representatives from
member agencies of JUST Response are presenting a full-day session "Saving
Lives: Assessing, Investigating, and Prosecuting Strangulation Cases"
on October 6, 2015 at the University of Montana. Registration
is now open on the
website. Early bird registration deadline is August 31. Contact

Assessment Grant - the City of Missoula
has recently received a grant from the EPA to conduct assessments on
petroleum and hazardous substance sites.

Community Based Services awards to be announced
- when Missoula County has adopted its FY 16 budget, the CBS awards
will be announced. Check back in early September, 2015
Substance Abuse Prevention
awards to be
announced - Once the Missoula County budget has
been adopted, the Substance Abuse Prevention awards will be
announced. Check back in early September 2015.
Crime Victim Advocate
Program brochure available to download or pick one up at the RVS
office (317 Woody St.)
Community Housing Referral
and Information System (cHris) now available. This is a
web-based data collection system for measuring housing insecurity in
West Central Montana. The main purpose of the data system and
the website is to foster data-information solutions to housing
Order of Protection Forms - Temporary Orders of Protection forms
available to print and fill out. Please be sure to fill these
forms out completely.
