Stewardship Award Program Recipient has been announced!
The Missoula County Commissioners are pleased to announce Bud Moore for the Swan Valley as posthumous recipient of the 2014 Land Stewardship Award. Click here for the full press release. Read the Missoulian's coverage of the award presentation here.
ONLINE FLOODPLAIN TOOL
Floodplain Status of County parcels per the FEMA floodplain maps can now be checked online using the Chrome internet browser which is available free from Google here:
By entering the parcel's address or geocode number, you can view the approximate boundaries of the 1988 FEMA floodplain maps in addition to the 2010 and 2013 draft FEMA maps: http://gis.co.missoula.mt.us/CAPS/Floodplain/.
