The Missoula County Shoreline Regulations
The proposed amendments to the Missoula County Shoreline Regulations will be presented to Planning Board on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 (7:00 p.m., 140 W. Pine St., Missoula). Planning Board will be asked to make a recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners that they adopt the proposed amendments.

Missoula County Growth Policy Update
County is excited to announce the start of a new project: a comprehensive update to the Missoula County Growth Policy. The goal of this project is to create a community vision, develop goals based on community priorities and issues, and craft a plan for Missoula County. Bonner West Log Yard Targeted Economic Development District
Missoula County intends to establish a Targeted Economic Development District (TEDD) in Bonner, at the site of the former West Log Yard, which encompasses approximately 117 acres and is located west of US Highway 200 (as well as Anaconda and 1st Streets), north of the Blackfoot River, and south of West Riverside Drive. The site is located in Section 21, Township 13 North, Range 18 West, PMM; Missoula County, Montana. For information about upcoming public hearings and related documents, click here.
Rewrite - UPDATES!
CAPS is moving forward with two major sections of the draft Subdivision Regulations Rewrite for general public review. The subjects include Infrastructure, and Subdivision Review Procedures and Variances.

ONLINE FLOODPLAIN TOOL
Floodplain Status of County parcels per the FEMA floodplain maps can now be checked online using the Chrome internet browser which is available free from Google here:
By entering the parcel's address or geocode number, you can view the approximate boundaries of the 1988 FEMA floodplain maps in addition to the 2010 and 2013 draft FEMA maps: http://gis.co.missoula.mt.us/CAPS/Floodplain/.
