Subdivision Review Procedures and Variances
The Missoula County Commissioner's approved the proposed amendments to the Subdivision Review Procedures and Variances at their Public Hearing on June 24, 2015.
Lots and Blocks/Primary Travel Corridor Standards
The County Commissioners approved the Lots and Blocks/Primary Travel Corridor Standards at their Wednesday, July 22, 2015. The Lots and Blocks section of the Subdivision Regulations won't take effect until November 2, 2015.
The Missoula Consolidated Planning Board held a public hearing on Infrastructure Standards on Tuesday, July 7, 2015, at 7:00 p.m. in City Council Chambers. The County Commissioners are scheduled to hold public hearings in August.
Staff recently completed preliminary draft revisions to the Hazardous Lands portion of Article 3.1. The draft can be found here. The Missoula Consolidated Planning Board will have a public hearing on Hazardous Lands on Tuesday, August 4, 2015, at 7:00 p.m. in City Council Chambers. The County Commissioners are scheduled to hold public hearings in early fall.
Planning Board hosted a special presentation on working draft regulations for subdivision review of agricultural lands. You can read the memo and working draft regulations here. Staff is working on a public hearing draft that will be released in the coming weeks.

ONLINE FLOODPLAIN TOOL
Floodplain Status of County parcels per the FEMA floodplain maps can now be checked online using the Chrome internet browser which is available free from Google here:
By entering the parcel's address or geocode number, you can view the approximate boundaries of the 1988 FEMA floodplain maps in addition to the July 6, 2015 FEMA maps: http://gis.co.missoula.mt.us/CAPS/Floodplain/.
